SKL Series, “H” size capsules were designed for medium batch sizes filtration and filling applications in the sterile compounding industries worldwide. This family of products is particularly suitable for sterile filtering larger volumes of aqueous and oil bases, as well as final medications. The filter capsules are available in two (2) different Pharma Sterilizing Grade membranes (PES and PTFE) and three (3) component materials (Nylon, HDPE, and Polypropylene) ensuring that our products meet the chemical compatibility requirements for a wide range of medications produced by the Sterile Compounding Industry.

Dual layer membranes are available for the tough applications where the active ingredient(s) doesn’t dissolve well in the base or in everyday sterile compounding products. This increases the volume filtered anywhere between 35% to 200% more for a minimal cost increase. Our pre-filter membrane layer is highly asymmetric and is superior to anything on the market.

There are twenty (20) different connections for the Inlet / Outlet to choose from. The most popular fittings are Luer Female Inlet and ¼” hose barb Outlet. The filters are factory sterilized, ready to be used out of the package, and include a complete certificate of conformance. Our filters are 100% integrity tested and comply with USP class V1, USP 797 guidelines, etc.

The effective filter area is 680 cm ².
