SteriPure P cartridges outperform competitive single layer cartridges. These cartridges offer dual layer filtration, a Polyethersulfone Pre-Filter and Polyethersulfone (0.22 µm, 0.45 µm or 0.65 µm) Final-Filter. Its outstanding performance is derived from technically advanced formed pleats providing a more efficient filtration surface alongside its second PES layer serving as a Pre-Filter. These cartridges offer the lowest overall filtration costs due to its high efficiency filtration in-between cleanings. Final filters are designed to withstand demanding cleaning methods employed by wineries and breweries such as caustic soda, nitric acid, hydrogen peroxide, hot water sanitization and steam sterilizing. Filters are readily available in 226 or 222 O-ring fittings with fin or flat configurations in 10”, 20”, 30” & 40” lengths. Filters are constructed with heat sealed polypropylene components with a rigid outer cage or guard. Filters are clean room assembled, factory flushed and packaged with a Certificate of Conformance. Different micron ratings for the PES membranes have been challenged with different bacteria to ensure its ability of maintaining sterility in the cartridge form, see table below:
