The ZenCap filter capsules assemblies are ready-to-use, full-size filters that offer high flows, increased throughputs, high strength, all with the convenience and cleanliness of a disposable and easy-to-install filter assembly. Designed for final filtration of medium to large scale batches (100L to 1,600L) in the biopharmaceutical Industry.

The LT, LI, LZT, and LZI Series PureFlo® 10”, 20”, 30”, and 40” size filter capsules provide excellent chemical compatibility and superior flow per unit area as compared to other competitive membrane capsules. The filter area ranges from 7.5 ft2 to 30ft2 (0.7 m2 to 2.8 m2), enabling the filter capsules to filter volumes from 50 liters to 1,600 liters. The filters’ features are high performing PES sterilizing grade membrane, low hold up volume, and bleed valves. 

The ZenCap series filter capsules have been specifically designed to sterilize biopharmaceutical applications where bacterial retention is required. The hydrophilic PES membrane does not require pre-wetting agents, thereby eliminating a source of contamination. In addition, the PES is a low protein-binding media to improve your process.

No adhesives, binders, or surfactants are used in the encapsulation process. They are rinsed with pyrogen-free water to reduce extractables and speed production. All filter capsules are thermally-sealed and 100% integrity-tested to ensure filter performance each and every time out of the package. The filter can be ordered pre-sterilized (ETO) or autoclaved.
